Delicious math rock featuring artful and catchy melodic writing, underpinned by intensely complex instrumental work. The emo influence in TTNG's past works has been toned down in favor of delicate pop songwriting, and, oh boy, it does it for me. Andy Bond
Surging, gorgeous, expansive music from this Leeds combo designed to accompany a film following three years in the band’s life. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 6, 2016
A heavy blend of post-rock and shoegaze from Argentina's Ox en Mayo Alto rides big emotional crests and contemplative valleys. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 27, 2021

Certainly a controversial direction for the band, but this album ultimately rests as my favorite from TTNG. The technical mastery of their previous albums is still present here along with some very thought provoking and philosophical lyrics. I may not always agree with the lyrical messaging, but this is an album which rewards careful listening. Syobnaf
